Located in Tupelo, Mississippi, the Sawdust Inn is not a business, it’s a hobby.
With no woodworking experience, it began in 2000 after my wife wanted to buy a couple of bookshelves. After watching a few episodes of Norm Abram’s “New Yankee Workshop,” I thought I’d give it a try.
Over the years, the tools have increased along with the knowledge and desire to produce quality woodworking creations.
The selection of projects I build is derived from a variety of sources, but primarily, if I see something I like, my attention goes toward building it.
From toys to fine furniture, very little is made for paying customers. Most of the projects are given as gifts to those who have blessed me in some way.
The purpose of this site is to share my passion for woodworking with others, and is some small way let you know…You can built it too!
